I'm Mahima, an enthusiastic computer science graduate student deeply passionate about coding. My journey into the world of technology began with a tough decision between medicine and engineering. However, due to my Hemophobia, I realized that a career in medicine wasn't the best fit for me. Consequently, I redirected my aspirations toward development, recognizing that software forms the core of modern technology. The spark I was missing ignited when I started playing with my first programming language, C. Back in Jr. College, I developed my first computer game in Python—a simple yet engaging rapid typing game. Since then, my love for coding has only grown.
Currently, I'm pursuing my Master's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Data Analytics. I thrive on seeking new challenges to learn, grow, and contribute to the ever-evolving tech landscape. Beyond academics, you'll find me cooking new recipes or reading my 137th novel.
Utilized Jira for accurate bug tracking and implemented Python-based automation for new softwares. Enhanced network monitoring with Scapy, reducing downtime, and improved security with multi-factor authentication, decreasing security incidents. Executed robust data backup protocols, ensuring a 98% success rate in data recovery during system failures and safeguarding critical university information.
Designed and developed an e-commerce platform using Python and JavaScript to create a seamless and engaging experience. Customers can explore products in 360° with AR, and even virtually try them on. Personalized recommendations powered by machine learning increase user satisfaction, while automated delivery and performance optimization tools ensure a smooth and reliable experience.
During this Internship, I designed responsive UIs and web applications, with a strong focus on user-friendliness. Developed a popular interactive quiz portal I built for over 10,000 young learners. Utilizing a combination of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a robust MySQL and .NET backend, I created a platform that not only offers a visually appealing interface but also ensures efficient data storage and user management. Engaging features like randomized questions, immediate feedback, and progress tracking, implemented using JavaScript, led to a 95% accuracy rate in its functionalities.
